Welcome to Chef on a Diet ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using our website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By subscribing to any meal plan, browsing the website, or using any service provided by Chef on a Diet, you affirm that you are at least 18 years old, or a minor with parental or guardian consent, and you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Delivery Policy

2.1. All deliveries are handled by Chef on a Diet’s in-house riders, ensuring proper handling and timely drop-off based on the chosen delivery schedule.

2.2. In the event a customer elects to use a third-party or personal courier to retrieve their meals:

a. The customer shall bear all responsibility and costs related to booking, coordinating, and paying for such courier services.

b. Chef on a Diet shall not be liable for any damage, spoilage, spillage, loss, delay, or deterioration in food quality once the meal has been transferred to the third-party courier.

c. Handover to the third-party courier shall be considered equivalent to delivery fulfillment on our part.

2.3. Upon arrival, our rider shall wait a maximum of 15 minutes at the delivery location. If the customer or their representative fails to receive the meal within this time frame, the delivery shall be marked as fulfilled. The meal will still be counted as delivered, and no refund, rescheduling, or replacement shall be provided.

2.4. Deliveries are available within Metro Manila, and selected areas in Cavite, Rizal, and Bulacan.

2.5. Chef on a Diet offers morning and evening delivery slots, subject to availability and logistics capacity.

2.6. Not all areas are eligible for night delivery. Customers are encouraged to inquire with our administrative team to confirm if their area is covered. Availability is based on delivery routes, safety, and operational efficiency.

2.7. Delivery time slots are approximate and may be affected by traffic, weather conditions, or other unforeseen logistical challenges.

2.8. We shall not be liable for delays or failures in delivery caused by force majeure, incomplete or inaccurate delivery information, or external factors beyond our control.

2.9. You are required to take care of your meals. All meals are prepared on the same day they are delivered. Upon receipt, please check your meals to ensure they are complete and in perfect condition. You are expected to refrigerate the meals immediately to maintain freshness. Chef on a Diet shall not be held liable for any spoilage due to improper storage after delivery.

2.10. Please keep your mobile phone open and accessible during the expected delivery window. If the rider is unable to reach you and you fail to receive the meal for any unspecified reason, the meal will be disposed of and still counted as delivered.

2.11. For Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions, customers are expected to prepare the exact payment amount. Riders may not have sufficient change available. Failure to pay upon delivery may result in order cancellation and suspension of future service.

3. Orders and Subscriptions

3.1. All orders must be placed through Chef on a Diet’s official channels, specifically:

3.2. Customers are required to fully read and accept these Terms and Conditions prior to placing any order.

4. No Cancelling and Refund Policy

4.1. All meal plans are strictly non-refundable once prepared or delivered.

4.2. Once a customer fills out the order form, the subscription is considered confirmed. This shall be treated as a valid and binding order, and therefore, cancellation of the subscription will not be allowed under any circumstance.

4.3. Rescheduling and modifications to delivery dates must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled delivery and are subject to administrative approval.

5. Continuity of Subscription

5.1. All meal plan subscriptions are intended to be continuous throughout the subscribed period (e.g., 5-day, 20-day, etc.), and are priced accordingly.

5.2. Skipping delivery days during an active subscription disrupts operational planning, inventory management, and kitchen preparation. As such, skipping may incur a service or administrative fee, the amount of which will be determined based on the timing and frequency of the request.

5.3. Requests to skip a delivery day must be communicated in writing (via official messaging channel) at least 48 hours in advance, and are subject to approval.

5.4. Repeated or unauthorized skipping of delivery days may result in additional fees, suspension of delivery, or refusal of future service at our sole discretion.

6. Payment Terms

6.1. Payment must be made in full before services are rendered.

6.2. We accept payments through authorized payment gateways, bank transfers, or cash-on-delivery, where applicable.

6.3. Chef on a Diet reserves the right to change pricing or payment terms at any time, provided notice is given before such changes take effect.

6.4. In the event that a customer requests to downgrade an ongoing meal plan subscription (e.g., from a higher-calorie or longer-duration plan to a lower-tier plan), no refund, credit, or reimbursement shall be issued for any excess fees already paid.

7. Health Disclaimer

7.1. Chef on a Diet does not provide medical advice. The meal plans and services we offer are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

7.2. Our meal plans are developed with nutritional balance in mind; however, they are not formulated as medical food products and should not be considered a substitute for professional dietary or medical consultation.

7.3. Individuals with known food allergies, sensitivities, underlying medical conditions, or specialized dietary needs are strongly advised to consult with a physician or licensed dietitian prior to subscribing to our services.

7.4. Chef on a Diet shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions, side effects, or health outcomes resulting from the consumption or use of our meals.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, designs, and media on the Platform are the exclusive property of Chef on a Diet. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of any material is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chef on a Diet disclaims all warranties, express or implied, and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our services.

10. Privacy Policy

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Malabon City.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after the posting of updated Terms shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

 

Check Out Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Chef on a Diet. To help ensure a smooth and satisfying experience, we ask that you carefully read the following terms and conditions before placing an order.

Cancellation Policy

Once the order form is filled out and submitted, the order is considered final and cannot be canceled. We encourage our customers to review all details before placing their order. If you need to make any changes—such as adjustments to the delivery schedule or delivery address—these must be requested at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Requests must be sent to our administrative team and are subject to approval.

Delivery Guidelines

Deliveries will be made to the address provided by the customer within the selected delivery window. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that someone is present to receive the delivery during the expected time. Our rider will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes upon arrival. Our administrative team will contact the customer with the given contact information. If no one is available to receive the meals within that time, the delivery will automatically be marked as completed and the meals will be counted as delivered.

Spoilage and Damage

Chef on a Diet ensures that all meals are prepared and delivered fresh and in good condition. However, once the delivery has been received, we are no longer liable for any spoilage or damage. Customers are responsible for properly storing their meals by refrigerating or freezing them immediately upon receipt.

Product Disclaimer

Our meals are freshly prepared and are best consumed within the recommended time frame. For morning deliveries, meals are best consumed within the same day to enjoy their freshness. For night deliveries, we advise customers to refrigerate the meals immediately and consume them the next day. Following proper storage ensures the best quality and safety of your meals.

Indemnification

By placing an order with Chef on a Diet, the customer agrees to release and hold harmless Chef on a Diet, its staff, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities that may arise from the use or consumption of our products.

Modification of Terms

Chef on a Diet reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. We recommend that customers review this section regularly to stay updated on any changes.
